Bespoke Planters - Manchester

Heritage Street Furniture were approached by Manchester City Council regarding designs of Bespoke Tree Planters, to be installed within the Oxford Road Public Realm Improvement Scheme.

Due to underground services preventing conventional tree pits, the decision was made to install Aluminium Planters above ground level.

Using our experience, the company designed these bespoke Tree Planters, to the council’s specifications.

Following approval of the design, Heritage supplied the Aluminium Planters which had four fabricated Frames installed at the top of the planter. These frames would be placed in position, after the tree root had been planted.

The positioning of these planters ensured traffic could not park on the pavements, and also gave greater character to the road and adjoining streets.

Similar planters have been supplied by Heritage Street Furniture in Corten Steel, also used to enhance the centre of Manchester.
